The boards of Trinity Classical School and Georgia Mountains Christian Academy are pleased to announce that these two private Christian schools are uniting under the new name of Faith Christian Academy for school year 2012-2013. Representatives from each of the boards will continue to serve on the new board. Faith Christian Academy will be housed at 2664 Highway 197 South, Mt. Airy, Georgia, the facility of the former Georgia Mountains Christian Academy. Faith Christian Academy will be a private Christian school focused on providing “A Christian Environment for Academic Excellence.” Dr. Ruth S. Cowan has been approved as the principal for the new school. Over the next few weeks, Dr. Cowan will be interviewing faculty members from the two schools to fill positions at Faith Christian Academy.
