Mrs. Ruth Jacobi enjoys living in the hills of Habersham County.  She looks forward to every day that she can spend teaching students in her classes.  She graduated from Centenary College for Women in Hackettstown, New Jersey with an A.A. and earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana.  She has served on the Board of the National Teachers of English.  Over the past twenty nine years, she has taught kindergarten thru high school.  Her teaching experiences have been enriched by having taught in five different states. This is her third year at GMCA.

Mrs. Jacobi and her husband have together raised three sons and they have ten grandchildren.
She looks forward each year to encouraging young minds to grasp all that this wonderful world has to offer.
